Chief Tashka

It’s not often you get to meet a real-life Amazonian Indian chief in the centre of London.
Chief Tashka Yawanawa is from the Acre state in Brazil. It takes 2 days or so by canoe to get to Manaus the biggest town in Amazonia. He was in London to talk about climate change and to protest about BR 364 which is cutting right through his territory.
