What’s My Scene? Hoodoo Gurus

I discovered the Hoodoo Gurus about a decade ago. They’re the type of boozy Oz rock n’ roll you’ll being played most nights in the Railway Hotel in Byron Bay. This song has a chorus to die for and the writer says on the liner notes to my ‘Best Of…’ compilation that he wouldn’t change a single thing about this song: I’d have to agree. From what my in-laws down under tell me it’s proved a nice little earner for the band too over the years in terms of commercial usage. I particularly like the heavy chugging at 2’31.
