Going east?

If you’re planning a trip to one of Europe’s little secrets — Estonia — then let me point you in the direction of Est Adventures. Run by Melbourne expat Andrew, this gutsy tour company does something no other Estonian operator seems to be doing: piercing the tourist bubble and taking the unwary visitor to some seriously out of the way places all within an hour’s drive of Tallinn.

Once you’ve tired of the glassy stare of Tallinn’s menu-thrusters dressed in cheesy medieval garb then give Est a call . . . if you like traversing marshy bogs, perusing stately homes complete with ancient motorbike/car collection (including an amazing Zil 101 which belonged to a Soviet bigwig), ancient burial tombs, sleepy villages and ace beaches all delivered with heaps of Aussie enthusiasm then this is for you . . . Top job mate. Keep up the good work.
